The sixth Annual Narooma Motors Classic And Fancy Car and Bike Show, easter long weekend 2020

Is in the planning stages...

Looking like, with thanks to the Eurobodalla Shire Council again, Easter Saturday 2020 at NATA oval.

We will be seeking Trophy Sponsorships (12 Trophies, your business promoted on the name of the trophy), general sponsorships, foodies to feed the masses, and volunteers for the day. Thankyou again to Dave and Mel Britton for supplying the pistons to make the trophies. We are also looking to change the name a little and try harder to get more local business properly involved!

Got questions or wish to become involved? Email us at:

With great thanks and appreciation to Di Riley's event management.

The Fifth Annual Narooma Motors Classic And Fancy Car and Bike Show, January 26, 2019

As usual, a fabulous day had by all, the Shannon's Super-rig taking pride of place overlooking the oval and hosting all the announcements - a huge Thankyou to Shannon's Insurance for supporting the show this year. Another big Thankyou to Pop Up Putt Putt for providing wonderful children's (and adults) mini golf entertainment (and frustrations). They'll be back next year too. A massive thankyou to event organiser Di Riley, and Tim Burke (photographer), Lindsay Brown (welcome from council) and Laela Davison performed the Welcome to Country on behalf of the Aboriginal and Traditional owners. Outstanding work feeding us all by Kitchenboys, Riverside Pizza, The Fix (coffee) and The Moruya Sharks Junior and Senior Football Club provided the BBQ. The foodies were amazing!

One of the highlights of the day was the rescue demonstration by the VRA using the Jaws of Life and other tools and showing us how they cut a car open to rescue someone trapped. Another highlight was the Corolla Brick and Burn - we put a brick on the accelerator of the poor suffering Corolla who's oil and water had been drained and had a guessing competition on how long before it would die - 22 minutes and 10 seconds!! Prize money was donated back to the VRA by the winner.

Winners were as follows:

3rd place - $100 - Peter McInnes - Harley Davidson CVO

2nd place - $200 - Merv Roberts - 1954 Holden Ute with canopy

1st place - $300 - Dave Britton - 77 Holden Torana

Best In Show - $50 - Di Treloar - 1955 XK140 Jaguar

Best ladies entry - $50 - Sue Whiting - 1953 Holden FX Sedan

Best Bike - $50 - Steve Betteridge - 2013 Harley Davidson Wideglide

Best Survivor - $50 - Sandy Felder - 1928 Chev Roadster

Best Original - $50 - Dennis Sly - 1987 XF Falcon

Best Modified - $50 - Steve Whiting - 1956 Holden Van

Captain's Pick - $50 - Steve Yeoman - 1961 Chev (The Elvis Car)

Narooma Motors First Annual Car Show

January 2015 came with an idea - let's have a classic car meet and greet to show off the new signage and building renovations and new equipment, and get Narooma Motors back on the map. Because it was a spur of the moment thing, we were thrilled that so many locals popped out for a look at the 15 or so vehicles that came along. Supported by Gulf Western Oil and NRMA Batteries, we managed to put on quite a little show that locals still mention. The Gulf Western Supercar is all show but you could hear it screaming at the other end of town. Lyn took over the BBQ and we made a hat-ful of coins for the local fireys.

And we made the local paper! Narooma News

We hope to make the Narooma Motors Classic Cars meet and greet an annual event and bring more of these awesome vehicles to town for a weekend in summer.

Narooma Motors second Annual Car ShOW 2016

Well, the first ever Narooma Motors Car Show was such a success we decided to do it again (and hopefully every year from now on). Still held on the shop grounds, we lined up about 24 exceptional and unique vehicles. This time we had Kimmy Saker from 2EC Radio providing music and entertainment all culminating in awarding four trophies - First, Second and Third placed cars - and Best Bike in Show. For the record, we were not expecting such a fabulous range of beautiful vehicles and it was very, very hard to choose winners from such a superb bunch of choices.

Sausages cooked to perfection were supplied and raised money for the local Fireys  by the Bastards Motorcycle Club, a pretty awesome bunch of guys and ladies.

Congratulations to Barry Andrews, first place with his gorgeous 37 Ford; Rolf Leek, second place with the sexiest black 57 Chev you ever saw; and third place went to Richard Trew with an immaculately restored 64 Falcon. Best bike went to "Betto" and his shiny Harley Dyna Street Bob. Mav took home a baggy of goodies for best ladies bike - which we never thought of till it was almost too late.

We succeeded in making this event much bigger this year and hope to move to one of the local ovals and really rev it up in 2017. If you are a member of a bike or car club and would like to join us, please contact us!

Sincere thanks to Gulf Western Oil, NRMA Batteries (Club Assist), Federal/Mastercraft Tyres and all the awesome local businesses that got behind us with their support.
